In preparation for my book launch of The Stone Lions, I decided to make French Macaroons (among the other cookies). They turned out great. Pictured are ones that are filled with a chocolate ganache. The others I made were filled with a passion fruit/lime buttercream. They are superb! Can't wait to have people try them at the launch.
